By the banks of Jabiru lake, a festival celebrating Kakadu culture occurs every year, as it has done for many years. Mahbilil (named after the cooling afternoon breeze) occurs in the Kurrung season (Aug-Sept) and brings people from around Kakadu & West Arnhem, as well as Darwin, Katherine and lots of tourists as well.

Mahbilil is an explosion of music, dance, bushfoods, art, workshops and culture.

Come join us on Saturday 3rd September. We look forward to seeing you!
